Maalox is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of heartburn and the gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (rise of gastric content in the oesophagus) in adults and adolescents from the age of 15.
Dosage: As single doses of 4.3 mL: 1–2 sachets to treat heartburn and food reflux. Do not take more than 12 sachets a day. Before use, mix the suspension carefully by rubbing the sachet between your fingers. Swallow the sachet without diluting.
Do not take Maalox:
- If you are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine of this medicine
- If you have acute renal impairment.
